Spoonbill entangled in a fishhook in the park behind the Keersweel

Just caught in the park behind the Keersweel; the spoonbill that sits there every year. Unfortunately it was entangled in a fish hook. Calling all fishing children: DO NOT LEAVE FISHHOOKS OR WIRE IN THE POND. The consequences can be very serious. The spoonbill has a 10 cm wound. Hopefully, he'll survive. Kudos to the animal ambulance and the volunteers.
