Professional contract for Daniël Hanzen

Sparta Rotterdam has signed Daniël Hanzen. The 19-year-old midfielder signed a two-year contract today. There is also an option to extend his contract by one year. At nine years old, Hanzen was scouted by amateur club Bruse Boys, after which the Zeeland native joined Sparta's U10s ten years ago. Hanzen then progressed through all the youth teams, culminating in his debut in the Second Division last season. Eight minutes before the final whistle, Hanzen was called up as a substitute in the away match against ACV Assen. The attacking midfielder has been a full member of Jong Sparta since this season, having made five appearances for the reserves.
