Municipality of Schouwen Duiveland: Riekusweek V

Dear resident(s), It has undoubtedly not escaped your attention that Schouwen-Duiveland is also facing a tight housing market. First-time buyers in particular have difficulty finding a home and the flow of older people to Zero-step housing is slow to get off the ground due to the limited availability of suitable (lifelong) housing options. Based on the Bruinisse 2025 structural vision, consultations have been going on for some time between the Bruinisse village council and the municipality about the realization of housing on the site of the former football fields located on Dijkstraat. Work has been done on a concept design for Riekusweel V. We would like to show it to you and discuss it with you. We therefore cordially invite you to a walk-in meeting in the Bruinisse village hall. Walk-in meeting An urban development exploration was carried out for the development of the Riekusweel V plan area and a concept design was subsequently created. We will discuss this with you during the walk-in meeting and we would like to hear what you think of the design. You can also use this moment to ask questions and leave comments and tips for the further elaboration of the design. The walk-in meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 3 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the village hall in Bruinisse. There is no need to register in advance. You can simply walk in between the indicated times. Municipal employees will be present to talk to you. No information is yet available about a possible allocation or sales procedure for plots/homes in the Riekusweel V plan area. Therefore, this will not be discussed during the consultation meeting.
