Machine factory Padmos with branches in Bruinisse, Stellendam and Kilmore Quay (Ireland), is a medium-sized company specialized in the design, construction, repair and maintenance of vessels. Machinefabriek Padmos is also a dealer of Mitsubishi marine diesel engines and has a dry dock with a capacity of 1,300 tons.

There are currently more than 90 employees active, spread over 3 branches.

Administrative employee

For this position we are looking for enthusiastic school leavers who want to work in our administration. You carry out work in the broadest sense of the word: think of financial administration, project administration, etc. You have at least an MBO-4 education and are happy to roll up your sleeves.

Commercial inside sales employee

For this position we are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who is able to independently make calculations and quotations for our clients. Experience is an advantage, but we would also like to invite school leavers to apply. You have at least an education at MBO-4 level, you have a technical background and good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written, and you are familiar with the Word and Excel programs. It is an advantage if you are able to adjust a drawing with Autocad.

Draughtsman

For this position we are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who can handle Autodesk Inventor and Autocad well. Here too, experience is an advantage, but we certainly also want to invite school leavers to apply. You are technical and able to independently make a mechanical engineering drawing. You have an education at least at MBO-4 level, good knowledge of the English language, spoken and written. You are also familiar with the Word and Excel programs.

Diesel mechanics

For this position we are looking for enthusiastic colleagues who can independently carry out repairs or maintenance on diesel engines, both on board ships and in the workshop. It is also no problem to work at various locations at home and abroad. You have the right mentality, know how to tackle things and do not have a “9 to 5” mentality.
