Aquamossel-Triton is coming to you this summer…

With a major mussel tour throughout the country, the mussels will be in the spotlight from September 11 to 16 and they will conclude the mussel week in style in Bruinisse.

The Aquamossel-Triton mussel tour visits several major cities in the Netherlands such as Breda, Maastricht, Nijmegen, Leiden and Scheveningen. The aim is to make the mussel popular again among a wide audience, especially among young people. 24Kitchen chef Roberta Pagnier will be joining you during the mussel tour and will provide advice and assistance with all activities. On Saturday, September 16, the mussel tour leaves for Bruinisse as the last in a series of activities throughout the country. Aquamossel-Triton will take a seat there as the main sponsor at the world's longest mussel table.

Bruinisse prepares for the world's longest mussel table

Mayor Jack van der Hoek together with Miss Visserij 2023, Fréderique Padmos, will open the Guinness world record attempt for the longest mussel table. On September 16 at 12:00, at least 1000 people will take a seat at the table set up along the harbor. The aim is for everyone to enjoy cooked Zeeland mussels at the same time. A whole team of officials will ensure that the record attempt is fair and determine whether the attempt has been successful. In addition to the local population, anyone who wants to be part of this record attempt can purchase a ticket to participate. Following the mussel table, the BRUzzz Late Summer Festival begins. An atmospheric festival dedicated to Zeeland's Salty Delights such as mussels, oysters, razor clams, etc. A dazzling music spectacle completes the atmosphere with performances until 11:30 PM by The Beggars, Convoi Exceptional, AAD (Adriaan van den Berg), Smelly Kitchen and DJ Henk. The mussel opening competition starts at 3:30 PM.
