How do you recognize an old shard? And suppose you find a bone; how can you determine how old it is? In this workshop, archaeologist Ties takes you into the world of archaeology.
Together, you will take a journey through time, exploring various finds from prehistory to the Middle Ages. You will learn how to examine bones and pottery shards and how to identify them. Naturally, you will also discover how archaeologists determine the era of a find. Afterwards, you will get to work yourself: can you figure out what you are holding?
Age 8 and older.
