Grevelingen central in NTR TV broadcast

Since the construction of the Delta Works, Lake Grevelingen has been cut off from the North Sea. As a result, there are no longer any tides in the lake, causing the water to stagnate. A lack of oxygen has created a dead layer in the deeper parts.
