Mayor Cees van den Bos likes to be among the Goesen residents

If you happen to spot him on a terrace in Goes, while strolling along the Oosterschelde, or out on his mountain bike, he's always happy to chat. The new mayor of Goes, 43-year-old Cees van den Bos from Bruinisse, enjoys connecting with the residents. "I'm happy to be back in the province; I was born and raised in Zeeland," he says. "Goes is the city where I got my HAVO diploma, did internships, and regularly visited with my family. Being mayor here is fantastic."
