AutoFirst Garage Markus nominated for title of Independent Car Company of the Year 2023

BOVAG holds an annual election for the best independent car company and AutoFirst Garage Markus is one of the contenders for the title in 2023. An independent professional jury selected the Bruse car company, together with nine other companies. This means that AutoFirst Garage Markus is among the current top ten. Owners Remko and Jade feel extremely honored with this nomination!

Jade Markus: “Yes, I am very proud of course, also of our team. Getting a place in the top ten of this election is simply a great achievement. The fact that we have become the best independent company in Zeeland 2023 is of course fantastic. Recognition also for our hard work. We feel honored, because you really have to be good to be nominated by the professional jury.” Remko Markus: “We are of course extremely grateful to Bruinisse and our loyal customers. Thanks in part to their trust, we have been able to achieve this great result in 7 years. We are all going to celebrate reaching the top ten. Now let's do everything we can to get a place in the top three: the final. That is the next step!” To be nominated and reach the top ten, companies can be nominated by BOVAG, industry parties and garage formulas. A company can also register itself. From the 61 registrations and nominated companies, the professional jury selected the best ten based on strict criteria. In order to reach the final, AutoFirst Garage Markus will be examined by an independent inspection body in the near future. The company has also been visited by one or more mystery shoppers. The results of both will be assessed by the professional jury, which then determines which three companies will proceed to the final. The finalists will be announced at the end of July, after which a professional jury will select the winner. The winner of the title will be announced on October 3, 2023, during the BOVAG annual conference.
