The Beauty Room Boutique & Salon First I would like to introduce myself, my name is Romy van der Spek, born and raised in Bruen! In 2020, I started The Beauty Room at home in addition to my job as a doctor's assistant. My hobby, which got out of hand, started as an eyebrow and eyelash salon for 2 days a week and since last year I also started selling clothing and accessories. My collection soon expanded and I was ready for a larger space. When Antje's property came my way I thought 'yes, this is my chance!'. I have been dreaming of a clothing boutique combined with an eyebrow salon for a long time, and that dream is now finally coming true. I will be running the salon in the morning hours and in the afternoons and on Saturdays you can come and shop for the nicest must-haves. My nice neighbor Mariël from Marie's Meuque and I would like to invite you to come and take a look. during the festive opening on June 9 and 10! Love, Romy Marie's Meuque Who and what is Marie's Meuque? For years I have enjoyed painting, restoring furniture and spending hours hunting for treasure in thrift stores and flea markets. Eventually, as my husband said, I had too much old 'junk' in the house and the idea arose to start selling; Marie's Meuque. Just like the “junk” that I pimp up, I have also pimped up my company name to “Meuque”. That sounds a bit more chic! Now, almost 5 years later, a dream comes true: my own store! Here you will find, in addition to the refurbished furniture and vintage accessories, now also new accessories for in and around the house and the icing on the cake is that I now have a beautiful space to to give creative workshops.
